Commercial floor sweepers do a great job keeping parking lots, warehouses and other operations looking their best. To get the most out of your investment, it's important to regularly replace the wearable parts such as the brushes, broom and the main dust filter. Failing to maintain the equipment can result in inefficient cleaning and damage to your machine.
Floor Sweeper Parts
On a floor sweeper, there are three parts the owner should be most concerned about replacing
The front brushes
The main broom
and the main dust filter
On an Advance machine, you'll know it's time to replace the filter because a light will come on. Couldn't be easier, right? The front brushes and main broom will need to be replaced when the bristles have completely worn down.
Why Choose OEM Parts for Your Floor Scrubber
Always replace your brushes and broom with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts. The brushes are equipment-specific and weight-balanced to reduce vibration. Too much vibration can (and will) damage the brush motor. The replacement cost for this motor far exceeds any savings from buying cheap replacement parts.
If you think you've found a good deal on a cheap part online, make sure you have a back-up plan. It can take weeks (and even months) for non-OEM parts to arrive from overseas, and what you get might be low-quality or just the wrong fit for your equipment.
