Train the Trainer
Want to Establish an “in-house” forklift training program for your company? If so, you need TMH’s Forklift “Train-the-Trainer” Course.
TMH’s Forklift “Train-the-Trainer” Course is a comprehensive one-day course in which participants will learn how to legally establish an “in-house” forklift training program. The course focuses on the new OSHA training regulations, how they affect your company and how to comply with the new standards. At the end of our course, your trainer or your employee will have the tools and knowledge to return to work and establish an “in-house” training program that is specific to your company’s operation and equipment types, while meeting OSHA requirements.*
Trainees will take home:
- Instructor′s lift truck training & reference manual, complete with lesson plan, training & documentation requirements, federal & state OSHA standards, ANSI & NFPA standards, etc.
- Toyota training video kit with student material & certificates
- Toyota pedestrian safety video
- Battery and gasoline / LPG safety requirements
- Pre-shift operator inspection forms
- Hands-on driving course set-up and evaluation information
- Written tests (and answers)
- Certificates of completion
Forklift “Train-the-Trainer” Course:
- Time: 9am – 4pm (Continental breakfast & lunch included)
- Cost: $975 per person; includes instructors training, reference binder and choice of training kits
- $595 for additional attendees from the same company who do not receive a training kit

Class Pre-requisite:
Students should have a basic understanding of forklift operations and procedures as they pertain to their company. Forklift operating experience is helpful, but not required**

*OSHA’s new forklift training requirement 29CFR1910.178 (1) (2) (iii) states “all operator training and evaluation shall be conducted by persons who have the knowledge, training, and experience to train powered industrial truck operators and evaluate their competence.”
**TMH does NOT offer a “Train-the-Trainer” course for Aerial Platform operations at this time.
